Cold night, warm hearts

CĂ©lina Ip / Daily Observer Renfrew County's fi rst annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser walk brought in a whopping $68,449 with more money still trickling in over the next few days. The amount well surpasses the campaign's goal of $40,000. The funds will be split between Renfrew County Safe Shelter for Youth and The Grind Refuge. Pictured here (left to right) are FCS of Renfrew County executive director Arijana Haramincic, Renfrew-Nippising-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski, The Grind Coffeehouse and Refuge executive director Jerry Novack and Petawawa Toyota general manager Michael Douglas.
